Practice and Presentation Reviews.
The best way to be prepared for your talk is to practice, practice, and practice –– whether that be in front of a mirror, pacing in your kitchen, or in front of someone else. The Elastic Developer Relations team is happy to hop on the phone or a video call and be that person you practice in front of –– we are also happy to review your slides and provide feedback.
If you would like for us to review your presentations slides, we do recommend you sync with us at least a week prior to the meetup –– that way you have enough time to incorporate any feedback and make last minute changes. We know many speakers put their slides together last minute, and if that’s your jam, don’t feel obligated to sync with us — we want to be available when you need us, not cramp your style.
